To search for a specific label in Brother P-touch Editor version 6, you can use the search functionality located at the top right corner of the program window. Simply type in the label you are looking for and the program will display matching entries in your database.
I have a model PT-1950 that works well with Windows 10. I have failed to get a driver for the Windows 11 operating system will work with my printer. Is there some simple fix such as an emulator that will allow use of a windows 10 driver hooked up to the Windows 11 64 bit computer?

Unfortunately, there is no simple fix to use a Windows 10 driver with a Windows 11 64 bit computer. You will need to check with your printer manufacturer to see if they have released a driver to support your printer on Windows 11.
I can set the label printer for chain printing to save tape, but can't set it as a preset to use later. It reverts to auto cut.

There is a PDF file which explains the procedure with the printing and presets regarding the chain print operation. I recommend downloading the PDF file from the Brother website.

There is an entire page with troubleshooting information related to the message you're receiving. Basically, you will have to check the settings of the printing application to match the tape installed in your machine. As you can see in the image below, the settings don't match and the users receives the same error.

In order to install a printer, first you need to decide how do you want to connect it to your computer (with USB or by network). After that you need to connect your printer to the PC and visit the official website of the manufacturer in order to download and install the appropriate driver.
You can now try to add your printer to the OS by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Add a printer and follow the instructions provided.
When you successfully installed the printer, you should be able to use it inside this software.

Brother P-touch Editor offers you through the Presets window various settings based on what you want to edit and print. For example, there will be a preset for High Quality printing. This means that the printer will be configured to print at high quality settings for best output. However, if you have a custom configuration, you can save it from the Presets > Save Preset as then you can use it another time. The presets function is implemented to easily change the settings of the printer.
