Company gave me a Brother VC 500W to print QR labels with it generated by a different Programm
worked fine
hand to make one myself for a different project
the programm turns of the option to generate a QR code if you select the VC 500W
support says because that printer is designed for small pictures

why would you turn off a function that should 100% work just cause the printer wasnt designed for that specific thing??
i can do text
i can do pictures that inlcude a QR code
but i cant make one just cause i intent to print with a printer you dont want me to use??

Version 6.5.1.0 offers little improvement over its predecessor. I appreciate being able to finally select multiple rows with shift-click and ctrl-click as introduced by Apple in 1984! I also appreciate the new version being able to work with databases that have more columns than the prior version could handle.

But, I don't appreciate the loss of being able to display a dense list of rows in the records panel. Prettiness seems to have taken priority over user productivity. If the market is driven by prettiness, then there should be a panel for advanced users that is optimized for productivity.

And speaking of productivity, speed is the worst aspect of it all in the new version. It is so slow, that it aggravates me every time I use it. That seriously harms the Brother brand image and my expectation of high quality equipment.

I have nine bother printers and decided to buy Epson recently because it is more polished and faster. Time has great value. Brother leadership seems to have has lost this understanding and and have decided to their market focus to attract casual users. I find it hard to understand how they can think these aggravating shortcomings will help them optimize their market share and future value.
