Absolute garbage. I have battled for years with this old, limited and simply frustrating software. I have 3 QL printers and they all react differently to this software with their own bugs. The 570, 700 and expensive 800 which I have just thrown out the door in disgust. Brother, you are a big enough company to get something as basic as this software right. I am going to teach the other printers a lesson now and the software is to blame. Miserable to work with. 1 star on a good day.
VERY dated editor, makes it more complicated than it should be. Editing text box sizes / text size makes no sense as it changes everything and changing the size needed for a continuous roll just moves everything around so i have to go back and re edit all my labels
I faced the same thing and the behavior can be changed. You can make the size fixed in text box layout property. Choose Fixed Size layout and then choose to clip (or wrap) text which does not fit – instead of Resize. Then, the text will never resize again. Text box layout dropdown menu and dialog box allowing to customize details of its behavior are also directly accessible from the toolbar.
It looks like software from 1992, the interface is just HORRIBLE. I just can't stand it, I will buy a printer from another company...
